Principal's Letter

Meadowmere Parents and Guardians,

The 2020-21 school year is upon us.  This year is most certainly going to create plenty of challenges for all of us.  Our school district is improving the educational experience for all students, while allowing families to decide if they want virtual learning or in-person learning.  Now that each student has an iPad or a MacBook at their disposal, coupled with the new Canvas learning system, we will make teaching and learning a much more exciting and interactive experience.

Our theme this year at Meadowmere is No Excuses.  It is very easy to spend time complaining about how hard things will be trying to educate students virtually and in-person at the same time.  We have made a commitment not to do that.  We do not have time to make excuses.  We need to work together, problem solve, and create the best possible learning experience for our students.

Blended/In-person learning begins for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students on September 28th.  All other students will remain in a virtual learning mode.

We will keep you posted as new information becomes available.

Sincerely,

Stephen Fielder
