All About Ms. Miller

Hello Bulldogs!  My name is Cyndi Miller and this is my third year teaching the English Language Learners in grades K-5.  You may also know me in my previous role as a first grade teacher at Meadowmere Elementary School for the previous eight years.  I was born and raised in northern California but have been in the Midwest since 1999.  I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Ottawa University.  I then received my Master's of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.  

 

I share my apartment in Kansas City with Wren who graduated from Grandview High School in 2022.  They are currently attending Mizzou and are studying technical theater - stage management and everything backstage.  We have lazy 2 cats, Hank and Wimbledon.  Outside of school, you will find me tooling around KC in my lime green MINI Cooper usually with an iced coffee in hand.

 

I am excited to see all of my amazing students this year.  It's sure to be a year of full of fun, learning, and growing.  Go bulldogs!
