School Leadership

Bryan Hart joined Meadowmere Elementary School as the new principal starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Previously, he served as the assistant principal at Martin City K8 for the past year.

Mr. Hart graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA, in 2008 with a BA in History and a teaching certification. He moved to Kansas City as a Teach For America corps member and began his career as an elementary teacher at James Elementary in the Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS). Although Mr. Hart loved teaching, he aspired to expand his impact on students and coach teachers to improve their craft. To achieve this, he pursued a Master's in Educational Leadership from Park University. He served as an administrator for six years in KCPS, including a year as the Interim Principal at Northeast Middle School.

Mr. Hart had an incredible year at Martin City K8, especially enjoying his work with the K-5 students. He is thrilled to step into the principal role at Meadowmere Elementary School and continue the excellent work already being done there. He is committed to supporting teachers and ensuring all students reach their full potential.
