About Me

Welcome to my page.  I've been teaching second grade for 10 years at Meadowmere Elementary and I am still loving it!  I feel very fortunate to be able to live out my passion (teaching) with people that I love working with.  I like to have a classroom where students are excited about what they are doing and where they want to come every day.

 

When not at school I'm at home spending time with my family.  I am married and have 3 kids (20, 18, and 13) and a beagle named Truman.  I love playing basketball (although I'm really getting too old for it!) playing the piano, and traveling.  Some of my best memories are backpacking the Narrows in Zion National Park and hiking in Kings Canyon National Park.
